Yum, your favourite dessert sounds delicious! I am definitely going to try it with my family this year. We typically have strawberry shortcake for special events which sounds a little bit like trifle, however, we don't include a custard layer in ours. Instead, we just put strawberries and whipped cream on the top of a single layer of vanilla sponge cake.
I hope that you and your entire family are having a lovely holiday time together. Have you shared any special meals or made trifle as part of your Christmas celebrations? I hope so!

Wow, this trifle sounds absolutely fantastic. I really like how you have included a photo of the desert as this helps your readers better understand how to make the trifle. When I get together at Christmas with my extended whanau, you can almost guarantee that there will be a trifle there. I haven't had one in a few years though, so maybe my son and I can put one together for our birthday's this year. What kind of special occasion would you make this trifle for?
I hope you are having an incredible holiday. We still have a week of the Summer Learning Journey to go, I would love to see more of your amazing posts this week.
